Championing the Future of Green Chemistry

The IGC aims to give industrial Green Chemistry in Germany and Europe a strong voice, raising its profile among politicians, the press, other associations, and companies.

Our goal is to support existing companies in this technological field as they grow, while paving the way for new ideas and innovations to be established and brought to market.

Through its work, the IGC aims to raise the profile of industrial Green Chemistry, establishing it as a permanent discussion partner at the political table. Its work will primarily focus on the political arena in Berlin, but the association will also establish itself at the EU level and, where necessary and according to capacity, in the federal states.

We believe in the principles of green chemistry as a guiding compass for future innovations, technologies, and materials, ensuring their successful transfer and scaling within the industry.

With the IGC, we want to ensure that processes and products based on Green Chemistry principles are taken into account in existing and new regulations, and that public funding programmes for Green Chemistry are optimised and relaunched. We will initiate studies to support our position with all stakeholders.

Companies, research institutions, universities, associations and investors who share our mission can become members of the new association. They will benefit directly from the association's work and their membership will contribute to securing the long-term economic and ecological sustainability of Germany and the EU's industrial strength through new technologies.
