Our Goals
IGC works to strengthen the industrial green chemistry ecosystem in Europe by improving representation, public funding conditions, and independent evidence for decision-making. The aim is to create better framework conditions for startups, scale-ups, and innovation-driven companies building the next generation of chemical and chemical-pharmaceutical manufacturing.
A Real Seat at the Table

IGC works to ensure that green chemistry startups, scale-ups, and industrial innovators are involved early when regulations, industrial programs, and transition pathways are designed in Germany and at EU level.

Funding That Fits Industrial Innovation
IGC advocates for public funding programs that match the realities of deeptech, industrial scale-up, and capital-intensive manufacturing innovation. Funding frameworks should work for long development cycles, pilot and demonstration phases, and the infrastructure needs of green chemistry companies.
IGC supports the creation of credible, independent scientific data, studies, and evidence on scalable industrial green chemistry solutions. Policymakers, industry stakeholders, and investors need trustworthy scientific and economic analysis to understand what is technically possible, commercially relevant, and strategically important for Europe’s industrial future.
